RELEVANT OFFENCES
A 'relevant offence' is an offence listed in the Licensing Act 2003 that could, on conviction, rule out the grant or renewal of a personal licence, or lead to the suspension or forfeiture of a licence by the court. These offences include:

• those involving serious crime
• those involving dishonesty
• certain sexual offences
• offences under the Licensing Act 2003

A 'foreign offence' refers to one of the above offences committed abroad.
