The Award in Responsible Alcohol Retailing
The BIIAB Award in Responsible Alcohol Retailing is a qualification
designed for people working within the licensed trade in support of
the Designated Premises Supervisor.
For employers,
in this culture of blame, test purchasing and problems with under
age drinking this qualification is a must.
The
people who would attend this course are bar staff and shop workers.
By training their lower level staff, this course will help companies
(whether big or small) meet their requirement to demonstrate a
commitment to provide responsible alcohol retailing. More
significantly it could provide them with the crucial Due Diligence
defence in the event of a potential prosecution.
